Last weekend was the annual Whistle Stop BBQ Festival. It is a weekend that we in Huntsville look forward to. Not only is it a barbecue competition, but it is also one big party for 2 days straight. This year the boys decided to cook in the professional division. They had to cook 4 meats: Ben (ribs), JD (butt), Jeff (chicken) and Nick (brisket). I am proud of how well they did. The chicken and brisket placed top 20 and they team got 36th overall out of 66 competitors. Not too shabby for their first attempt to cook with the big dogs.

The entire team! Yes, Olivia and I were part of the team. We were in charge of presentation. Basically all we did was prepare the boxes with lettuce and parsley, fresh from Liv's garden.
