We arrived safe and sound yesterday afternoon. Went out last night with two SIT study abroad friends. We went to a great pub "The Saloon" and had some yummy German beers.
Got up early to venture around the city. Walked through China Town, The Mall, Smithsonian, and an local market.
Had to complete a safety briefing before I received my race packet. About to head out to do a practice swim in the Potomac. Hopefully I won't catch any bacterial diseases. Got the Pasta Dinner tonight and then off to bed early.
