AU vs. UGA

Last weekend Ben and I met our good friends Jacqueline and McClain in Athens, Georgia for the Auburn/Georgia game. This was our first time to Athens and we had a wonderful time. Cute town, great restaurants and the people were very nice.

At the game. Auburn lost, but it was a good game.
Tailgating before the game. We actually tailgated from 9 am till 6:30 pm. It was a Long day.

Jacqueline and me cozening up to the bar.
Dinner the first night at an amazing New Orleans style restaurant.

Riding the bulldog. A little fun for an Auburn guy in Athens!

Weekend

Well, I am being lazy tonight and not wanting to download pictures from my weekend. Ben and I had a very productive weekend. Friday night we had date night and went to the Chef's Table. Always a good time and great food when we go there. Before heading to dinner we made a stop by Pet Smart to pick up a few things for Pippa. $100 later Pippa has a new bed, dog treats, a new mat for her kennel and raw hide bones. Spoiled Dog.
Saturday I got up early to run with Team in Training. It was an awesome day for a run. Ran 10k with a great group of people. After running Ben and I headed to Nashville for the Auburn vs. Vandy game. Great day for a football game. We tailgated all afternoon at our friend Amber's house. Amber lives about a mile from the stadium so we just walked to and from the stadium. The game was great the first half, the second half was not so great. I am still shocked that Vandy beat us. Ben and I have decided that we are no longer going to Auburn games. This season is the first time that he and I have gone to a game together. Well, every game we have seen live Auburn has lost. So, we will sit our pretty little selves at home for the rest of the season. Sorry Alabama fans, we are not accepting FREE tickets to the Iron Bowl. I know you would love to have two fans there that jinx Auburn.
We got back into town early Sunday so we could run errands and work on the house. I must say we have had a very productive Sunday. Put a roast on early in the day for dinner, which was very yummy, Ben hung my new curtains, I did more laundry than I really wanted to, cleaned the house, went to the grocery, had Matthews over for dinner, and watched our favorite TV show Amazing Race. So, all in all it was a great Sunday.
Maybe I will get out of my lazy mood tomorrow and actually post some pictures from our AWESOME weekend (minus the Auburn loss). Off to bed..
