While in DC for my Triathlon I had the opportunity to visit with two old study abroad friends. Ariel and Andy lived and studied with me in Berlin Germany. Even though we were only in Berlin for 4 short months, we gained a lifelong friendship. Ariel and I have not seen each other since 2001 and we picked up like we see each other yearly. The three of us and Ben went to dinner and to this quaint neighborhood bar. Naturally we all had German Beer!

Andy, Ariel and Myself. We 3 sure did have a fun time while living in Berlin. Andy lived with this horrible family that tried to starve him. Ariel lived with a great family that only ate lamb. I lived with the best family if I must say so. We got to eat lots of yummy wurst, potato salad, cucumber salad, french fries, and leek soup that I still crave.
Ariel and I spent a lot of time together while in Berlin. We would study, get doner, travel to Prague and stay in horrible hostels, drink beer at Luisen Brau's, and much much more.
