Today I had a first. I made my first pie ever. It was a special pie too because I specifically made it for Ben who loves blueberries and loves pies. I am going to pull a pioneerwoman and post pictures of the process.
Here are my lovely blueberries coated in sugar, a dash of nutmeg and a a little flour.
Next I poured the blueberries into a pie shell and put about 8 slices of butter on top. Yum Yum
The finished product. Please take note of the heart. Just for Ben I say!
Just look at that gooey mess. Looks delightful and I'm not even that big of a blueberry fan.
And finally Ben enjoying my labor of love. Can't forget the Breyers Vanilla ice cream.
